All GS Composite gangways are manufactured using the same advanced production system and high-precision molds, ensuring consistent structural integrity and performance across all models.
The primary differences lie in the exterior finish and visual design:
- Full Carbon (White Finish): Features a smooth white coating (RAL 9003) on the entire gangway.
- Dark Blue Model: Finished in elegant dark blue (RAL 5011) for a sleek, nautical appearance.
- Carbon Look Model: One bottom side is coated in white (RAL 9003), while the top walking side has a transparent finish, exposing the carbon fiber weave.
Prestige Carbon Model: Fully transparent finish on both sides, showing the carbon fiber structure throughout for a high-end, technical aesthetic.
What non-slip finish colors are available?
We offer a selection of standard non-slip finish colors:
- Light Grey — RAL 7074
- Dark Grey — RAL 7037
- Beige — RAL 1015
- White — RAL 9002
- Black — RAL 9005
- Teak Look — RAL 1019
If you would like a custom color, we are happy to accommodate your request. Custom RAL colors are available for an additional charge. Simply provide your preferred RAL code when placing your order.
If I choose Light Grey as the non-slip finish, what will be the color of the gangway design underneath?
This depends on the gangway model you select:
- On the Full Carbon model, the base color beneath the non-slip surface is white (RAL 9003).
- On the Prestige Carbon model, the base is transparent, showcasing the visible carbon fiber structure.
The color and appearance of the underlying design always correspond to the model of gangway selected.
Can I have a logo of my yacht incorporated on the gangway?
Absolutely. Just send us your yacht logo in a vector file format, and we will prepare design options for your gangway.
Can the yacht logo be in different colors?
Yes, it can. Please note that additional charges apply for each specific color.
Can the gangway be made in the same color as my yacht?
Yes. Simply provide us with your yacht's color code or product details, and we will match it accordingly.
My designer is preparing a custom design for the gangway. What information do they need?
We will send you design templates that indicate the areas requiring non-slip coverage, so your designer can work accurately.
Can you apply real teak to the walking surface?
Yes, we can. However, please be aware that real teak adds approximately 5 kg of weight on average, depending on the gangway size.
I want the teak look without extra weight and cost. What are my options?
We offer a special "Teak Look" non-slip design that mimics real teak without additional weight or cost. To select this, choose the Carbon Look model. The design will feature black lines with visible carbon fibers, similar to teak decking.
My yacht has white caulking lines in the teak. Can I match that on the gangway?
Of course. For white caulking lines, choose the Full Carbon model which offers a white base color.
I'm unsure about adding handrails. Should I order them now?
All our gangways are designed so handrails can be added at any time. If you're undecided, you can always order and install them later.
What is the Smart Lock and why is it recommended?
The Smart Lock (safety side fixation) is an innovative solution that transforms a foldable gangway into a rigid, solid model, significantly increasing stability and safety.
For best performance, we strongly recommend ordering the Smart Lock pre-installed during production. Installing it afterward may not achieve the same level of precision, as factory mounting ensures exact alignment and optimal functionality.

What is the diameter of your male pin fitting?
Our gangways come standard with a male pin diameter of 25 mm, compatible with most female deck fittings.
My yacht’s fitting is not 25 mm. Can you provide a custom size?
Yes, we can produce a custom male pin. The most common alternative we stock is 30 mm. Custom sizes may require additional production time and cost.

Is the cover for the fitting usable with all the fittings you offer?
Yes. The cover is compatible with all fittings we offer.
Can you deliver the gangway directly to my marina if I’m not there?
Yes. Just provide contact details for the marina's reception and your yacht's name, and we’ll arrange the delivery accordingly.
I’m currently sailing. How can I receive the gangway?
We will contact you two days before shipping to coordinate the delivery location. Together, we will arrange for the gangway to be delivered to your next marina or port of call.
Do you ship internationally, for example to Argentina?
Yes, we have shipped gangways worldwide for over 20 years, including to Argentina.
Can I organize my own courier pickup?
Certainly. We will provide the package dimensions and the ready date for pickup.
Can I pick up the gangway in Ljubljana while driving to the Adriatic Sea?
With pleasure. Just let us know your travel date — even on weekends — and we’ll provide you with a contact number to call two hours before arrival.
How will I find your pickup point in Ljubljana?
Once we know which direction you’ll be coming from, we’ll arrange a convenient meeting point on the city ring road for a quick handoff — and a coffee!
I’ve paid 50% upfront. When is the final payment due?
We’ll request the final payment one day before shipping. You’ll receive a photo of your finished gangway, the final invoice, and the tracking number.
Will you ship the gangway before receiving the final payment?
No. Final payment must be received before the gangway leaves our facility. To avoid delays, feel free to send us proof of payment by email.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes. We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. Bank details are included on every offer. For credit card payments, we’ll email you a secure payment link.
I have sent an online inquiry for a specific gangway model and I didn't get the offer!
Our morning routine is to start with preparing the offers for all customers, who have visited our internet site and filled in online inquiries.
Offers are sent daily (except the weekend days). If you haven't received the offer in at least 48 hours from your inquiry, it is a big possibility that your written email was wrong.
If you also wrote your phone number, we will call you, if we get your email rejected. Otherwise we do not have a possibility to provide you with our offer.
