GS Composite steering wheels are produced from aluminum molds with quality pre-preg fabrics. Aluminum molds assure that every wheel is 100 % rounded. In a process of production is used internal pressure which can reach 10 bars and wheel is finalized in Autoclave (on 120°C). All wheels are made by non-bonding technology, which allows incredible modern, minimalistic design. Cleverly, incorporated hub is customized to customer steering system with an option of positioning logo on hub via laser engraving. All wheels are made in EU and are certified with Germanische Lloyd certificate.
Mechanical properties of carbon fibers are 10 times stronger in comparison to metals. They have the same stiffness and they have lower weight. The most important of all is a lower rotational inertia results in improved feedback from steering system and consequently, in lower power consumption of auto-pilots.
