GS Composite steering wheels are produced using aluminum molds and high-quality pre-preg fabrics. The aluminum molds ensure that every wheel is 100% perfectly rounded. During production, internal pressure up to 10 bars is applied, and the wheel is finalized in an autoclave at 120°C. All wheels are made using non-bonding technology, allowing for an incredibly modern and minimalistic design. The cleverly integrated hub is customized to fit the customer’s steering system, with the option of adding a logo on the hub via laser engraving. All wheels are manufactured in the EU and are certified with the Germanische Lloyd certificate.
Carbon fibers are 10 times stronger than metals, offering the same stiffness while being significantly lighter. Most importantly, their lower rotational inertia enhances feedback from the steering system, leading to reduced power consumption by auto-pilots.
